My dad was adopted as a new born because his mom was only 18 and knew she couldn’t take care of a kid. So she gave my dad up and she knew it was the right choice. My dad is sometimes sad about that but I always remind him he is a great dad! I bet his real parents loved him very much and gave him up because it was the best for him. But his adopted parents took him in and loved him and raised him and most of all took care of him by giving him money when he needed it loving him when he was sad taking care of him when he was hurt made sure he always had what he needed.
He knows that they did all of that for him and he really appreciates that very much. But it’s hard for him still to believe that he doesn’t know his biological parents and see if there okay and what they look like. I bet that would be hard for anyone and that there is a whole bunch of stories in the world that struggled with adoption like my dads. That is why when I get older I am going to help people find their biological parents. This way people don’t have to be sad anymore. I would also like to help open more orphanages and help the kids out in Haiti. I wish I could close my eyes and then open them and everything will be okay. But that doesn’t happen so I am going to try my hardest to help people that are in need. So thank you very much dad for helping me be a better person each day.
When my dad told me that he was adopted it changed my life forever now I want to help so many people in so many ways its like a bolt of lighting just struck me and I didn’t even see it coming! I feel like a different person now I want to help so many people in so many ways! There are lots of dreams that you have but this is a dream I really want to come true. So lets make that dream come true today.
My new motto is to think about others then about yourself all the time. Appreciate what you have in life because someone else would want to have your life. Most of all don’t be fighters be lovers!
